Jason Arday, the Cambridge professor embroiled in a plagiarism scandal, has been found dead at his home in London, England, according to multiple published reports. He was 41 years old.
Arday's death came one week after he resigned from the University of Cambridge, where he became the youngest Black professor when he was hired as a sociology professor in 2023.

A father, ex-Marine, and firefighter suffered cardiac arrest and a permanent brain injury after eating raw oysters at a popular Chicago steakhouse chain, according to a newly filed lawsuit.
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Joe Belgio on Monday, Aug. 10, in Cook County Circuit Court, IL, against Gibsons Steakhouse - Oak Brook, LLC, GRG Holdings, Supreme Lobster and Seafood Company, Taylor Shellfish Company, and other defendants.
