34 Dogs Found Emaciated, Neglected In Hudson Valley: Man, 64, Charged, SPCA Says
A Putnam County man is facing 34 counts of animal cruelty after dozens of dogs were found severely emaciated and living in alleged neglect, officials said.
Kevin Bergeson, 64, of Patterson, was arrested following a large-scale investigation by the Putnam County SPCA Law Enforcement Division, the agency announced on Wednesday, June 3.
The investigation began after the SPCA received a complaint about a large number of dogs being kept at a residence in Patterson.
