An Arlington doctor not once, but twice subject to investigations is facing federal charges for illegally prescribing her own office manager more than 50,000 oxycodone pills over the span of a decade, authorities announced.

Anthony Alexander, age 57, of Deer Park, was found guilty Thursday, March 30, of selling the opioid-laced pills under the guise that they were oxycodone, the Suffolk County DA said.
Alexander sold what he said were oxycodone pills to an undercover investigator two times in January 2022. Subsequent testing of the pills sold to the investigator revealed that they were fentanyl, not oxycodone.
